Professional Bio

Ron Guerrier is a distinguished technology leader with more than 25 years of experience driving innovation and transformation across the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Chief Technology Officer for Save the Children, as well as Board Director at SustainableIT.org and Development Gateway, where he leverages technology to advance global programs serving the world’s most vulnerable children. In 2023 alone, Save the Children and its partners supported 105.9 million children across 115 countries to become healthier, safer, and better educated.

Previously, Guerrier served as Global Chief Information Officer at HP Inc., leading a world-class IT organization supporting more than 70,000 employees, contractors, and partners worldwide. He also served on Governor JB Pritzker’s Cabinet as CIO and Secretary of Innovation & Technology for the State of Illinois, and held CIO roles at Express Scripts and Farmers Insurance Group. Earlier in his career, he spent 19 years at Toyota North America, rising from repossessions coordinator to CIO of the Financial Services division. Guerrier holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree from North Park University, and a doctorate from the University of Southern California focused on Organizational Change Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.

Guerrier is a CIO Hall of Fame inductee and a frequent speaker on leadership and AI, with appearances at the World Economic Forum in Davos, London Climate Week, and the United Nations General Assembly.
