NAF Association Committees

The NAF Association is now accepting applications for committee volunteers for the 2026–2027 committee year through Wednesday, July 15.

Our committees play an important role in guiding programs, developing resources, strengthening member engagement, and identifying opportunities to better serve the non-prime auto finance community. Whether you're interested in sharing your expertise, expanding your professional network, or giving back to the industry, volunteering is a rewarding way to get involved.

Annual Survey Committee

  • The NAF Association partners with the American Financial Services Association (AFSA) to produce the annual non-prime automotive financing survey, providing the industry’s only measurements of growth and change.  This committee advises management in the development and implementation of the annual survey process.

Awards Committee

  • The NAF Association is proud to recognize professionals that have made remarkable contributions to the benefit of the non-prime auto finance industry. The Awards Committee is responsible for reviewing nominations and applications for designated award categories and for recommending recipients to the Board.

Conference Committee

  • The NAF Association Non-Prime Auto Financing Conference is the association's premier event. The Conference Advisory Committee is an ad hoc committee that serves as a resource to Management in determining conference objectives, developing content and identifying potential industry experts. 

Governance Committee*

The Governance Committee advises the Board about operational strategies including relevant amendments to the organization’s governance documents to strengthen the organization and to fulfill its responsibilities regarding matters that relate to governing the organization.

Learning Library Committee

  • The Learning Library is designed to provide NAF Members with a comprehensive digital collection of resources, empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to excel in non-prime auto finance. The committee is responsible for reviewing submitted materials on a regular basis and determining whether they will be approved for inclusion in the Learning Library. 

Membership Development Committee

  • The members are the driving force of the NAF Association. The partnership between association staff and volunteers who are industry experts is essential for continued organizational success. The Membership Development Committee advises management and leadership in developing and implementing strategies for membership growth and retention and to further active member engagement.

Nominating Committee

  • The Nominating Committee oversees annual NAF Association Director elections, including qualifications and procedures necessary to ensure that elections to the Board of Directors comply with all applicable requirements in accordance with NAF Association governance documents.
