His journey began in 2001 as an aviation instructor, where a pivotal encounter with a franchise principal led him into the automotive industry. Over the next 12 years, Paul held various successful positions within dealerships, gaining comprehensive insights into the industry's operations.

Recognizing the challenges faced by underserved markets, Paul transitioned into auto finance, managing a credit union program dedicated to the principle of "people helping people." This role deepened his understanding of the financial hurdles many consumers face when purchasing a vehicle.

In 2015, Paul took a significant step by acquiring his own dealership, Friendly Auto Gallery. There, he identified two emerging consumer trends: individuals with limited credit options often subjected to predatory loans, and younger buyers seeking more flexible and convenient purchasing experiences. Determined to address these issues, Paul founded OttoMoto® in 2019. This innovative, cloud-based platform bridges the gap between dealers and lenders, facilitating compliant communication and providing tools that enhance transparency and efficiency in the car-buying process.
