Professional Bio
Danielle Fagre Arlowe is Senior Vice President of the American Financial Services Association, where she leads the State Government Affairs Department and advocates for the consumer credit industry nationwide. Under her leadership, the department has become a leading voice at the state level, producing research, policy materials, and strategic resources to support sectors including vehicle finance, mortgage, traditional installment lending, and payment cards. She oversees key committees, working groups, and a large member network, growing participation significantly and serving as the primary liaison for the industry at the state level.
Previously, Danielle was Director of Government Affairs and Legislative Counsel for Metris and practiced law at two Washington, D.C. firms, representing financial institutions. She holds a B.A. from the University of Puget Sound and a J.D. from American University. Based in Minneapolis, she is admitted to the bar in Washington, D.C. and Minnesota.
